The reason for my absence...
I have not had anything interesting to write here. It's hard being inspired when you live in a mess, walk around in grandma panties and sweats, if you even bother changing from your pajamas at all that is, were the days melt into one looong boring sunday afternoon from the 40's, and where your brain has taken the form of an overcooked omelet...
But now I'm done, I have handed in the mess I've written, and my faith is now in the hands of one teacher and one unknown person. The final step is to have an oral exam, and then I'm done with KEA. MutherfuckingDONE!
Can't say that it has been a pleasure, or a learning experience for that matter, but an experience non the less. I've learned the one thing I already knew from before. Schools not for me. Oh KEA how you've proved my point!
Oh lord please let me pass!!!???
'Nutty shrimp
Home (deep) fried shrimp.
Bubba would have loved these!
Perfect as appetizer or snack. Very yummy!
You'll need:
- x amounts of big prawns
- 2 tbs of coconut flour
- 1,5 tbs of wheat flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tbs of water
- 1 garlic clove, finely shopped
- 1 tbs lime juice
- chili powder
- oil for frying
Peel the prawns and only leave the tail (if you prefer it with a tail). Whip the egg fluffy. Mix all of the ingredients together; coconut, flour, water, garlic, lime juice and chili powder. Heat the oil in a deep pan or wok, until it's really hot. Dip the prawns in the egg, and then in the flour mix and cover well. Place them in the oil to fry. Remember to turn them in the oil, so they get an even golden color on both sides. Frying time around 2 minutes per prawn, depending on seize. When they are ready, place them on some kitchen roll, to soak up the excess oil, so they become crispy. Serve with e.g. sweet chili sauce.
Cooking time ca. 15 minutes.

Medicine for the soul
Yup, I'm talking about chocolate mousse. And here's the recipe for the worlds easiest dessert.
You'll need:
- 8 past. egg yolks
- 200g of semi dark chocolate
- 1tsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4dl of whipped cream
- 75g of sugar
- Take a clean and dry bowl (very important that it is totally dry) and mix the sugar with the egg yolks, until they are fluffy.
- Whip the cream in a separate bowl, and not too stiff.
- Melt 80% of the chocolate in a bowl that you put over boiling water, so it melts very slowly. Save a couple of pieces for decoration. When the chocolate has melted, mix the rest of the chocolate in so that it "cools down".
- When you have melted all the chocolate, mix the chocolate with the egg yolk-sugar mix until even, then add the whipped cream and mix it all together with a wooden spoon. When the mixture is almost even, add the cocoa powder to add color, and mix well.
- Place the mix in a big serving bowl, or portion it in smaller bowls according to the amount of servings needed, and place in the fridge to set for a couple of hours.
- Serve with shredded chocolate and berries.

Interior niceness
I'm definately going to do a copycat on this one, I LOVE this DIY shelf thing!
What a great way to put all my magazines to good use!
Picture found on newly discovered blog love-aesthetics. The blog rocks, definitely worth checking out! In 5 minutes it became one of my favorite.
The other copycat I'm going to do one day is this;
Bulldog, or whatever crazy animal print I'm going to find, -chairs. Awesome. This could have been me doing this, but Sarah was first. Damn you, now I have to do the copycat;)
Check out her blog here: srhlm.
But all of these DIY self projects are going to have to wait... Wait until I have a solid place to live. I just found out that we have to move out in less than two months, due to changes in traveling plans, so all this interior dreaming is just as useless as cooking a fantastic meal and tossing it out. Ain't gonna happen.

Tattoo time
(check out my newest edition to my nailpolish collection, OPI's shatter. Cool huh:)?)
Friday I got my last birthday present, which proved to be the best, but also the most difficult... Now I have to decide upon which tattoo I want... So, send inspirational thoughts this way please:)
I have decided where to put it, it's going to be about 15cm-35cm under my armpit, but which side?
Tattoo inspo...

Helpy helpy!
I'd love it if you used just 2 minutes of your time to help a tired student out.
I know it's that time of the year when you are spammed with surveys all over the internet (makes you wanna avoid going online all together doesn't it?), but please, it's hopefully my last school project in a LOOONG time!
So boys and girls, enter here:
Thanks a million!
